Once upon a time, a bachelorette statistician gained the opportunity for an eighteen-month posting to Wellington, New Zealand. Quoth her then not-so-serious boyfriend, "Can I come too?"

Things I'll Miss About New Zealand, Part 6
At work, I'll miss having meetings interrupted by an earthquake.
It's a regular occurrence here, not to mention a fantastic way to wake up during the drowsier parts of a boring afternoon meeting!

oh yeah well we got tornadoes here in manitoba and repressive heat in toronto - Ottawa is just plain boring! Wayne
TISK TISK Uncle Wayne, Ottawa is not all that boring... Ottawa and the Valley is in an "Earthquake zone" (not the proper term) and every now and then we get little rattle or shake..... :)amanda
