Meet Matthew
Forgive the quality of the pic, but this was the best I could get before he dashed off. And man, when they're not being completely still, these things are FAST!
Heya Amanda! It's amazing how much cuter Matthew looks when you remember that he eats mosquitoes. ;-) The rose bush isnt big enough yet for him to live in, so his home is our crazed hibiscus plant, which is about 3' wide by 4' tall. As I discovered in Ottawa, Hibiscus is usually a picky, sickly, tempermental thing -- but here they grow so well, they choke out weeds! Go figure, eh?
